Welcome to spring in Central Texas! 🌞

Nearly 90-degree days are bringing back those perfect lakeDAY vibes! While the water is still a bit chilly, the warm spring air is making every session feel just right. Below are some key tips to help you stay comfortable and make the most of your time on the lake! 🌊🏄‍♂️

NEOPRENE WHILE IN THE WATER:

Wear Quality Neoprene. A Shorty spring suit is just fine to keep your body insulated while behind the boat. You can get away with a just a neoprene top as long as you have something to wrap up in when you get out of the water.

BETWEEN SURF SETS:

Layer Up for the Boat. It’s nice to have a hoodie and pants to throw on til you warm back up. if its a hotter sprig day, you’ll most likely be peeling layers off. Keep an eye on the forecast and dress/pack accordingly

AFTER YOUR SURF SETS

Have something dry to put on afterwards. Surf ponchos are pretty popular as they double as a hooodie/towels or quick cover-ups for changing.

Yesterday’s Board Meeting might have been small, but it was a huge success! I had one dedicated surfer, Taras, join me, and he got to experience nothing but glassy water the entire session.😍😍 Not only did he get plenty of quality time behind the boat, but this was also his very first time BEHIND A BOAT😲🤯!! So stoked to see him catch on so quickly and enjoy a beautiful wave in perfect conditions. 🧈🚤🌊🏄🏻‍♂️🧈 Who’s ready to join my next Board Meeting and shred an epic wave? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Next BM is Sunday at 8am, 4 spots left!
